What if putting the dishwasher on, laying your clothes out or deleting a distracting app wasn’t just another thing on your list? What if it was actually a gift to your future self? In this blog I explore the small, practical ways we can support future us - from preparing the night before and reducing phone distractions, to batch cooking, closing quick loops and making everyday life feel a little lighter. This isn’t about becoming perfectly organised or adding more pressure to your already full plate. It’s about choosing one or two small things that help tomorrow feel calmer, clearer and easier. Sometimes self-care looks like rest. Sometimes it looks like making sure morning-you doesn’t have to search for a school shoe, decide what to wear, or wake up to a kitchen full of dishes.

You are the main character of your own life. You get to choose where your focus goes, what you want to create, and how you want to feel while you’re creating it. I also share a simple journaling exercise called “my best day ever” to help you reconnect with what you truly want and start using your imagination in a way that feels exciting, supportive and empowering. A gentle nudge to stop waiting, bring your energy back to yourself, and begin writing the next chapter on purpose.

After 20 years of commuting into London, I worked out I’d spent around 4,800 hours on trains - about 200 days. My word. In this post, I’m sharing simple ways to turn travel time, waiting time or those little in-between moments into something that supports you. Not by doing more, achieving more or squeezing productivity out of every second, but by choosing what helps you feel calmer, clearer and more like yourself. If you’re anything like me, you watch an episode of Sort Your Life Out, get fired up about minimalist living, and head straight to your wardrobe to purge everything you haven’t worn since 2018. It’s a rush. It’s exciting. It feels like change is happening. But then what? The series ends. The quote fades. The podcast energy wears off. And often, we find ourselves slipping back into old patterns - waiting for motivation to strike again before we take the next step.

In today’s fast-paced world, finding ways to support our own well-being - physically, emotionally, and spiritually - has never felt more important. That’s one of the reasons I love Reiki so much. It’s gentle, powerful, and accessible to everyone - not just something to receive, but something you can actually learn and use for yourself and others. Here’s why I believe everyone should learn Reiki (and what it’s brought to my life and the lives of so many of my students)...

How much of your time and energy these days goes into worrying about things you can’t control? It might be work or traffic or the wellbeing of loved ones. It’s something we all do - but what if I told you there’s a way to redirect that energy toward growth, action, and happiness? Read more to find out how...

I sat on a stage and was interviewed in front of 200 people! Here's what I learned... If we're connected on social media, you might have seen a post about me being interviewed as one of three female founders at an event last Friday to celebrate International Women's Day. It's not something I do often and I learned a lot from it, so thought I'd share a bit about the experience with you - you are my people after all! 💜

Gratitude is much more than just saying "thank you." It’s a powerful vibrational frequency that can transform your mind, body, and spirit. When we cultivate gratitude, we align ourselves with the energy of love and abundance, creating a ripple effect that touches every part of our lives. Sometimes people ask me at the end of a Reiki session what they can do to shift their energy and raise their vibration on their own at home. The one thing I always suggest is that they start a gratitude practice. Here's why...

Today is not usually a blog writing day for me but this topic keeps coming up for me and those around me and so I thought I would share it with you in case it resonates with you too. First of all, I have a question… Have you noticed any patterns in your life lately? By that I mean, a situation that seems to repeat itself, almost as if the universe is trying to teach you something? It might be a recurring emotional trigger, similar challenges in relationships or friendships, repeated obstacles in your personal or professional life or similar situations or events that happen over and over again. What are your patterns trying to teach you? Read more...

On my socials last week I shared this manifestation method. It's similar to one I shared in my book ‘A Year of Great Habits’ (and it's a sneak peek of an upcoming book - stay tuned for more on that 😊) the difference is that in 'A Year of great Habits', I invite you to use your imagination. Imagination is a very powerful tool, but if we are limited in our thinking, we can unconsciously hold ourselves back. We don't know what we don't know, and often we've lived inside our little boxes for so long that we can't see beyond the walls we have created for ourselves. Sometimes we might feel we're not worthy of something better or we don't let ourselves go there in our minds because we don't want to 'tempt fate' or set our expectations too high. In those cases it can be truly challenging trying to imagine a bigger, better, brighter future for ourselves.
