A bit about me
My name is Amy, and I'm a Reiki Master Teacher. I have been verified as a practitioner by The Reiki Association and The Reiki Council and I am registered with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
As a sound practitioner, I am passionate about creating immersive sound bath experiences that combine Reiki and sound healing. This unique blend allows for profound relaxation and healing, enhancing the effects of both modalities.
City life
Having spent 20 years working in the City in Financial Services, and as a wife and mum of two, I understand the pressures and strains that come with both corporate and family life.
Commuting, navigating pre- and post-COVID working patterns and trying to meet corporate expectations, whilst wanting to be there for and spend quality time with your family can be challenging and stressful.
The constant outside demands on your time, energy and attention pulling you in all directions, can cause stress, anxiety and overwhelm.
Having lived through it, I understand how vital it is to create space to calm and clear your mind and take the time to relax, recharge and rebalance.
That's why I founded Three Little Birds.
Yoga and meditation
I first heard about Reiki in the early 2000's, around the time I started practicing yoga and meditation.
Yoga, meditation and Reiki are now a daily practice for me. Along with regular sound baths, they keep me grounded and aligned and help me remain balanced and calm.
These practices have been invaluable in supporting my mental and physical health in a natural and sustainable way. They bring with them innumerable benefits and I love sharing them with others.
Throughout my adult life, beyond work and family responsibilities, I have dedicated myself to exploring and practicing modalities that promote calm, relaxation, and balance for both body and mind.
I believe life should be enjoyed fully and that we are supposed to feel good (most of the time!).
Personal development
Over the years, regular study has become an integral part of my life. Personal development and self-improvement are core values of mine.
I have a passion for reading and learning, and I often share insights and wisdom I have come across in my newsletters and blog posts.

Reiki
My intention when I signed up to my first Reiki class was simply to learn more about energy.
Once I understood and experienced Reiki’s power to relax, rebalance and heal, however, I knew it was something I had to share.
Reiki's gentle, non-intrusive nature makes it suitable for everyone, regardless of age or health condition.
Practicing Reiki on myself, my friends and my family, I witnessed incredible benefits: relaxation, improved sleep, pain relief, and a sense of emotional lightness and wellbeing.
Inspired, I continued my training, learning distance and intuitive Reiki, which allowed me to offer healing both in person and remotely.
Becoming a Reiki Master-Teacher was a transformative experience, surrounded by talented healers and immersed in daily practice. This intensive immersion in Reiki helped me understand the profound benefits of regular Reiki sessions.
Regular Reiki sessions make me feel wonderful; light, calm, aligned, balanced, and free. My own experience of regular Reiki sessions inspired me to create my 'Complete' and 'Intensive' Reiki packages.
This journey confirmed my passion for Reiki, leading me to become a full-time practitioner dedicated to sharing this incredible healing power with others.

Teaching Reiki
Having shared Reiki with family, friends, and clients over hundreds of one-to-one sessions I can attest to the profound and beautiful power Reiki has to improve lives.
I have seen how each Reiki session gives the recipient exactly what they need in that moment, creating positive changes that extend far beyond the individual and creating a ripple effect that positively impacts all those they come into contact with.
It is this transformative impact which inspired me to teach Reiki to others. Reiki is truly inclusive. It is easy to learn and available to all. Everyone has the potential to connect with their inner healing abilities.

Sound healing
Working with sound has become another great passion for me, and it is one which complements my Reiki practice beautifully.
My whole journey with sound work has been a guided one, from finding the right teacher to buying the perfect crystal singing bowls.
A short 15 minute sound bath at a Reiki conference introduced me to the power of crystal singing bowls and I was instantly captivated. The sounds and vibrations caused my mind to switch almost immediately into a state of deep relaxation and I emerged with such a profound sense of well-being, I knew I had to learn more.
Since incorporating crystal singing bowls into my regular practice at home, I've noticed a positive difference in myself and my family. We are all calmer, more relaxed, more lighthearted and there is more harmony around the house.
It is truly wonderful to be able to combine the transformative power of Reiki with the innumerable benefits of sound healing through my Reiki-infused sound bath experiences.
This unique approach creates a deeply restorative environment that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit, allowing participants to experience profound relaxation and healing.
